Colleen, Jon, and Stephanie (featured from left to right) are the tight-knit minds leading the charge at both the Blue Surf Cafe and Blue Surf Arboretum locations. The three have strong ties to the Wilmington community, and a deep passion for building community engagement and relationships through great tasting food. With backgrounds in law (Colleen), civil engineering (Stephanie), and the culinary arts (Jon), each member of our leadership came together to create the Blue Surf Restaurants brand with the same goal in mind—to build community through delicious American cuisine.

Welcome to Blue Surf Restaurants, where culinary innovation meets coastal charm. Nestled in the heart of Wilmington, NC, and serving the surrounding areas of Hampstead, Leland, and Wrightsville Beach, our two unique locations offer distinct dining experiences that capture the essence of coastal living. Capture the fresh vibes of California cooking in every bite at both locations! Our menus do share some dishes that have been long-time Blue Surf Favorites. The newer location, Blue Surf Arboretum West, near Mayfaire, offers more elevated dishes for lunch and dinner, the perfect date night or place to bring those you wish to impress. Blue Surf Cafe, our original location near UNCWilmington’s campus on Racine Drive, maintains it’s friendly neighborhood surfer-themed cafe-style vibes and remains a local favorite for lunch and brunch.

Located at 250 Racine Dr, Wilmington, NC, Blue Surf Cafe is our original location, open for about 10 years and counting, beloved by locals and visitors alike. This casual surf-themed venue serves Californian-inspired modern American cuisine in a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Whether you’re starting your day with a Build Your Own Breakfast featuring pulled pork and black beans or savoring our buttermilk waffles with maple and bacon, Blue Surf Cafe promises an unforgettable dining experience whether you eat inside or on the patio.
